WE BUY CARS

Sell your car for cash.
Brisbane & Melbourne.

Fair offer in one business day, cleared payment the day you drop the car in. We handle the paperwork, pay out any finance owing, and don't waste your time haggling.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps, one day, done.

  1. 01

    Tell us about the car

Thirty seconds online — year, make, model, kilometres, condition. Or call us and tell us over the phone.

  2. 02

We come back with a firm offer

Usually within one business day. The price we quote is the price we pay — no surprise deductions when you show up.

  3. 03

Drop the car in, walk out paid

Bring the car to your closest showroom with your licence and rego papers. Quick inspection, we sign, we transfer the money — usually same day, bank transfer or cleared cash.

WHAT WE BUY

Most cars, honestly.

We're a used-car dealer — we buy what our customers want to drive. If your car isn't on the "don't buy" list below, chances are we'll take it.

We buy

  • Any make and model — Japanese, Korean, European, Aussie
  • Passenger cars, SUVs, utes, 4WDs, hybrids, EVs
  • Under about 15 years old (some flex — call us if yours is older)
  • Under about 250,000 km
  • Registered or unregistered
  • With finance still owing — we pay it out directly
  • Trade-ins welcome — offset against a car in our stock

We usually don't

  • Vehicles with major structural / written-off damage
  • Motorcycles, trucks, or heavy machinery
  • Vehicles you don't own or can't produce clear title to

Not sure where yours sits? Send us the details anyway — a two-minute look at photos usually tells us.

LOCAL PAGES

Same offer, same paperwork, closer showroom. Pick the one that's a shorter drive.

DEALER · PRIVATE · AUCTION

How the three routes stack up.

Selling privately usually pays a little more — if you have the time, patience, and stomach for cold calls and no-shows. Selling to us pays a bit less but you're done in a day. Auctions sit somewhere in the middle. Pick what fits your week.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Everything sellers usually ask.

How do I get a cash offer for my car?
Fill out the online form (30 seconds — year, make, model, kilometres, condition) or call us. We review, come back with a firm figure within one business day, and if you're happy you drop the car in and we pay you out the same day.
How is the offer decided?
We look at recent sale prices for comparable cars, current wholesale/auction values, the market demand for that make and model right now, and the specific condition of your car (kilometres, service history, cosmetic and mechanical condition). What we quote is what we pay — no surprise deductions on the day.
What information do I need to give you?
Year, make, model, variant, kilometres, colour, transmission, whether it's registered, and a quick honest note on condition. Three or four photos help. On the day of sale, bring your driver's licence, the current rego papers (or unregistered vehicle permit), and a bank statement or voided cheque for the transfer.
What if my car still has finance owing on it?
Not a problem — this is one of the biggest advantages of selling to a dealer rather than privately. We contact your lender, get the exact payout figure, pay the lender directly, and pay you the difference. The car's title is transferred cleanly. No awkward escrow with a private buyer.
Do you pay cash, or bank transfer?
Bank transfer is standard — it's faster to clear than a cheque and there's no cash-in-hand risk for you. For smaller amounts (typically under $10,000) we can do cash on request. Either way, funds are with you the same day you drop the car in.
Will I get more selling privately than to you?
Honestly? Usually a bit more, if you're patient. A private buyer pays retail; we buy at wholesale-plus. What you're paying for by selling to us is: same-day cash, no strangers test-driving your car, no listing fees, no cancelled inspections, no haggling by phone at 9pm, and we handle every piece of paperwork. If your time is worth anything, the gap narrows fast.
Do you buy cars with high kilometres or older cars?
Yes — up to around 250,000 km and 15 years old is our sweet spot, but we've bought outside those bands plenty of times. High-km cars have a home in our budget stock and older cars often go straight to auction or export. Send us the details even if you think it's borderline.
What paperwork do I need to bring on the day?
Your current driver's licence, the vehicle's registration papers (or the unregistered vehicle permit if applicable), the log book / service records if you have them, and both sets of keys. If there's finance owing, we'll organise the payout letter direct with your lender.
What if my car isn't roadworthy or is unregistered?
Still fine — we buy plenty of unregistered cars. You'll need to arrange a permit to move it to us (each state has an online form; it takes 5 minutes) or we can arrange a tow at cost. Unregistered doesn't automatically mean lower offer — it's the mechanical condition that matters more.
Do you take trade-ins as well as buy outright?
Yes — most of the cars we buy are trade-ins against a car in our stock. That's usually the best-value option for you because you skip GST on the trade-in value (only pay it on the difference). Have a look at what's in stock at /cars; if something catches your eye we'll factor a trade valuation into that deal.
