Which Brisbane suburbs do you buy cars from?
Anywhere in Brisbane south of the river, all through Logan City, and up the coast as far as Helensvale. That's a rough radius of about 40 km around our Loganholme showroom. If you're further north (Chermside, Redcliffe, Sunshine Coast) or further south (deeper Gold Coast, Tweed) we still buy — just ask; we'll usually cover a driver's time.
How long does the whole process take at Loganholme?
Once you're on the lot with the car and paperwork, plan for 45 minutes. Inspection is 15–20 minutes, offer confirmation and paperwork is another 15–20, and the bank transfer clears in a few minutes on top of that. Bring the log book and both sets of keys and you'll be walking back out in under an hour.
Can you come to me for the inspection in Brisbane?
Yes — for higher-value cars (usually $20,000+) we'll send someone to you anywhere within about 30 km of Loganholme. Below that threshold it makes more sense for you to drive in. If the car isn't drivable (mechanical fault, unregistered) we can arrange a tow at cost regardless of value.
How is the offer decided?
We look at recent sale prices for comparable cars, current wholesale/auction values, market demand for that make and model right now, and the condition of your car (kilometres, service history, cosmetic and mechanical). What we quote is what we pay — no surprise deductions on the day.
What if my car still has finance owing on it?
Not a problem. We contact your lender, get the exact payout figure, pay the lender directly, and pay you the difference. The car's title is transferred cleanly — no awkward escrow with a private buyer.
Will I get more selling privately than to you?
Usually a bit more, if you're patient — a private buyer pays retail, we buy wholesale-plus. What you pay for by selling to us: same-day cash, no strangers test-driving your car, no listing fees, no cancelled inspections, no haggling by phone at 9pm, and we handle every piece of paperwork.
Do you buy cars with high kilometres or older cars?
Yes — up to around 250,000 km and 15 years old is our sweet spot, but we've bought outside those bands plenty of times. Send us the details even if you think it's borderline.
What paperwork do I need to bring?
Your current driver's licence, the vehicle's registration papers (or unregistered vehicle permit), the log book / service records if you have them, and both sets of keys. If there's finance owing we'll organise the payout letter direct with your lender.
Do you take trade-ins as well as buy outright?
Yes — most of the cars we buy at Loganholme are trade-ins against a car in our Brisbane stock. That's usually the best value for you because you skip GST on the trade-in value (only pay it on the difference). Browse the stock and factor that in.
